After reading the title of this set, you can see that you're in for more of Mark's humor.  The subject of living an overcoming Christian life can be very

sobering - unless you look at it from Mark's perspective. He starts out by saying that the only way to stop you from sinning is to kill you.  And then proceeds to tell you how to stay dead. This is a study on the power of the thought life, and the need to control it.

The wrong thought processes can cause your "old nature" to "come back to life". The right thought processes can cause your new spiritual man to receive strength and grow stronger every day. It stands to reason that if you constantly feed your old nature, it isn't going to "stay dead".  You must starve it to death.

The second message in this set speaks of the power of a single thought, and asks the question, "Which thought are you building on?"  Every sin you've ever committed started out as a simple thought.  You just didn't handle it correctly.  Learn how to do it right next time!!
