Have you ever thought that God had a poor sense of timing in your life?  Israel thought so when after 500 years of waiting, He brought them to the Jordan River at flood stage.

 But the Bible says that Jordan overflows all its banks all the time of harvest. God didn't get them there at flood stage, but at harvest time.  The difference was determined by where they were looking. When you face a Jordan that is overflowing, look up, across Jordan, and see that it is harvest time.  Your step of faith into Jordan will open the way for you to enjoy the harvest.               

Mountaintops give us the incentive to keep pressing on through the desert.  God knows that we need those mountaintop experiences, so He places mountaintops in the middle of our deserts to give us a reason to keep moving. If you are feeling overwhelmed by the vastness of your desert, look up and see the next mountaintop in your future. 

God hasn't forgotten you, and He will be faithful to give you what you need to press on.  DON'T GIVE UP!!
