Hebrews 11 is the Bible Hall Of Fame.  It's our list of heroes.  People who we should emulate.  But if you take a closer look, you will find most of them flawed by failure. It's interesting to note that none of our Bible heroes were perfect!

God is more concerned about your future than your past.  He cares more about that you do tomorrow than what you did yesterday. Our God is the God of a second chance.  The Bible says that Jesus will not break a bruised reed, or quench a smoking flax.  Simply stated, that means that if there is the slightest hope of recovery, Jesus won't take that hope away.

 He is a God of restoration, not demolition.  God isn't looking for a way to put you down.  He's looking for an opportunity to lift you up.
